Devi-Shri grew up surrounded by turn-of-the-century dolls, antique teddy bears, old postcards and other curiosities in one of the most beautiful streets in the heart of Ghent above her mother’s and sister’s eccentric shops, The Fallen Angels.
A lot of her inspiration today is rooted in the memories she has preserved from those happy times.
After high school she did some fashion modeling but she quickly realized that she was happiest behind the camera. Her passion for photography was another legacy she received from her father.
After living in Luxembourg and New York she moved back to her roots in Ghent. and decided to go her own way.…and that’s how Be-Angeled was born in 2006.

Driven by her passion for creativity and timeless femininity, Devi-Shri brought her own world of jewellery and handbags to life, each piece lovingly designed and handcrafted with a unique Be-Angeled touch.
Over the years, she has created more than 40 collections, each telling its own story and celebrating individuality, elegance and a playful spirit.
What began as a personal passion soon spread its wings, with Be-Angeled creations finding their way into more than 150 boutiques across Belgium and Paris.

An unforgettable moment in the Be-Angeled story.
In 2012, a dream became reality when Devi-Shri finally met one of her greatest inspirations, the legendary Chantal Thomass.
An icon of French fashion, Chantal Thomass created her own enchanting universe of femininity, seduction and playful sophistication. Often described as the Coco Chanel of lingerie, her unmistakable Parisian style had inspired Devi-Shri for years.
What made this encounter even more magical was that Be-Angeled jewellery had found its place in the world of Chantal Thomass, with creations sold in her beautiful boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré, as well as at Galeries Lafayette and Printemps in Paris.
But the story didn't end there.
Another of Devi-Shri's greatest inspirations was the internationally acclaimed fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth, celebrated for her feminine photography.
And then came another unforgettable milestone: Be-Angeled jewellery was featured in the Chantal Thomass Winter 2012 campaign, bringing together two of Devi-Shri's biggest creative inspirations.
Two dreams. Two extraordinary women. One unforgettable chapter in the Be-Angeled story.

In 2013, Devi-Shri brought her colourful world to life with the release of her very own book
“Handmade with Love.”
Part autobiography, part creative lifestyle bible, the book invites readers into the magical universe of Be-Angeled.
From handmade jewellery and fashion DIYs to interior styling, delicious cupcakes and cheeky little surprises, every page is bursting with playful ideas and easy step-by-step projects.
Wrapped in Be-Angeled's signature pink and black, this book is a celebration of creativity, individuality and the joy of making something beautiful with your own hands.

In 2014, Devi-Shri met the love of her life, Dim. Two creative souls sharing the same passion for fashion, style and beautiful things.
Inspired by their shared vision, Dim created his own universe: Sculpt & Victory, a stylish and sophisticated private shop for men, located under the same roof as Be-Angeled in Ghent.
From tailor-made suits and fashionable outfits to unique accessories and personal styling, Sculpt & Victory is all about making men look and feel their very best.
